Evolution publishes a single global bet range for Ice Fishing, but Pin Up applies its own operator caps on top of that, and those vary by region because of currency rounding and local responsible-gambling rules. Here are the actual limits I've been able to verify on Pin Up's India, Brazil, and EU lobbies as of April 2026.
Evolution's Standard Bet Range (Before Region Adjustment)
Per-Segment Minimum
Evolution's base minimum for Ice Fishing is €0.10 per segment per round. That's the "one chip on one number" minimum. You can place multiple segments per round and each is individually wagered at the minimum chip value. If you're spreading four segments, your round total minimum is €0.40.
Per-Round Maximum
Evolution's base maximum is €2,000 per round across all bets combined. That's the global cap they enforce at the studio level — nobody on any operator can wager more than €2,000 in a single Ice Fishing round. Pin Up sits well below that globally; actual per-round maximums on Pin Up are much lower (around €500 per round in most regions) because the operator caps are tighter than the studio cap.
India (INR)
Minimum Bet in INR
Pin Up's minimum bet per segment in INR is ₹10. That's a rounded conversion of Evolution's €0.10 base — €0.10 is roughly ₹9 at April 2026 exchange rates but Pin Up rounds up to the nearest 5 so it lands at ₹10. Your round minimum if you're covering four number segments is ₹40.
Maximum Bet in INR
Pin Up's per-round maximum in India is around ₹25,000 (approximately €280). Per-segment maximum is approximately ₹10,000 on most bet types, though bonus-segment caps may be lower. Verify in the game info panel before placing a big round — Pin Up occasionally adjusts regional caps without announcement.
How Pin Up's INR Conversion Works
Pin Up converts Evolution's €-denominated base limits into INR at roughly the market exchange rate and then rounds to the nearest 5 or 10. This means the INR minimum is slightly above the strict conversion and the INR maximum is slightly below. The rounding benefits smaller bettors (a cleaner ₹10 minimum is easier to remember than ₹9.25) but takes a small bite from the upper end.
Brazil (BRL)
Minimum Bet in BRL
Pin Up's minimum bet per segment in Brazil is R$0.50. Same rounding logic as INR — Evolution's €0.10 base converts to around R$0.55 at current rates, Pin Up rounds down to R$0.50. Round minimum across four number segments is R$2.00.
Maximum Bet in BRL
Per-round maximum in Brazil is around R$1,500 (approximately €275). Per-segment maximum is approximately R$500 on most bet types. The Brazilian caps are slightly tighter than the Indian ones because of local responsible-gambling rules that Pin Up applies as a precaution even though its Curacao licence doesn't strictly require them.
European Union (EUR)
Minimum Bet in EUR
Pin Up's EU minimum bet per segment is €0.10, directly matching Evolution's base — no rounding needed because the base is already denominated in EUR. Round minimum across four number segments is €0.40, the absolute floor for Ice Fishing anywhere on Pin Up.
Maximum Bet in EUR
Per-round maximum in EU regions is approximately €500. Per-segment maximum is €200 for number segments and €100 for bonus segments — note the bonus-segment cap is lower than number-segment caps because bonus volatility is higher and the operator manages risk more tightly on those bet types.
Why the Caps Exist
Evolution's Risk Management
Evolution caps bets at the studio level because a single huge win (10,000x on a big bet) could expose Evolution to a payout liability they don't want to absorb. The €2,000 round cap means the maximum possible payout on a single Ice Fishing round is €20 million (2,000 × 10,000), which is already a huge risk for Evolution even with insurance. Operator-level caps below that are additional padding.
Pin Up's Operator Caps
Pin Up applies its own caps for three reasons: regional responsible-gambling compliance, liquidity management for the operator's float, and anti-fraud controls (huge bets trigger manual review). The caps you see in your lobby are the result of all three factors interacting, which is why they vary by region even within countries that have similar licensing rules.
Bet Limits by Bonus Round
Lil' Blues Sub-Wheel
Lil' Blues sub-wheel bets have the same chip minimum as number segments (€0.10 equivalent) but the maximum is typically capped around 40% of the number-segment maximum. On Pin Up EU that means €80 per Lil' Blues segment per round even though the 10-segment number bet can go up to €200. The cap is lower on bonus segments because the 100x multiplier upside produces larger payouts.
Big Oranges Sub-Wheel
Big Oranges has a similar structure to Lil' Blues but with a slightly tighter cap because the 200x ceiling is higher. On Pin Up EU the max Big Oranges bet per round is around €60 in most lobbies I've checked. Minimum is still €0.10.
Huge Reds Sub-Wheel
Huge Reds has the tightest per-segment cap of the three bonuses because it carries the 500x ceiling that feeds into the 10,000x max win. Pin Up EU caps Huge Reds at around €40 per segment per round, which makes sense given that a max-ceiling Huge Reds hit on that bet would already pay €20,000. Minimum is still €0.10.
What to Do If Your Bet Gets Rejected
If you try to place a bet and it rejects, there are three likely causes. First, you exceeded the per-segment or per-round maximum for your region — the game will return an error message naming the cap. Second, your balance is too low to cover the bet (obvious but worth mentioning). Third, the betting window closed before your tap registered — this shows as "round closed" rather than a cap error.
In any rejection case, lower the bet amount or wait for the next round. Contact Pin Up support if you think the cap shown in the error doesn't match what's published in the game info panel, because occasional mismatches do happen and they should be fixed.
